Howdy!

My name is Meredith, but you can call me Mere

My name is Meredith Gamet and I believe photos deserve more than just a spot on your camera roll.

I have been taking photos since 2017 and have done just about everything. Throughout high school and college, I found myself in different environments-- from Nebraska Cornhusker Athletics to Professional Bull Riders, company events to fundraisers, outdoor weddings in 2020 to coming up on beautiful churches in 2025, and family photos of 3 kids to 3 dogs.

I realized a common thread between clients, whatever the subject matter was, that people loved having a physical copy.

In a generation where posting on social media and digital files are everything, someone might think the value of printed photos in a book is a lost art.

However, I believe we are far from it. I feel people want it more now than ever.

Polaroids and Instant Print cameras are common gifts for today and their film/photos litter the walls of college dorm rooms, sun visors, and inside lockers of high school hallways. Trends on TikTok to Instagram display my generation showcasing relatives in their "younger years" through personal photographs found in wedding scrapbooks, family photo boxes, or random drawers. There is something special that can't be taken away when you see what your grandparents looked like at 20 or what your college roommate looked like at 6.

Ms.Mere Photo & Keeps is about incorporating photography back into keepsakes. My style is the client's style, and for everyone that looks different! If sleek, minimalist, hardcover photo books are your thing, I have years of experience with InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud software. If you prefer the feel of a custom scrapbook that looks like it came from Granny/Nana/GamGam/Grandma's craft supply, I can do that too! There is no right or wrong way to do this. Whatever the vision, it can become a memento looked at by you and your loved ones.

At the end of it all, I am a girl in my 20s just trying to make the best use of my time. In 2024, I walked the stage for dual bachelor degrees in Journalism and Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and appreciate every moment of it. I spend time with my family and friends doing things that make for great stories.

I hope you allow me to share yours.
